WCS delivers humanitarian air charter from LAX to Armenia

World Class Shipping added another high profile air charter to its resume, as it coordinated a humanitarian relief charter from Los Angeles to Yerevan Armenia on behalf of several Armenian American charities. WCS partnered with Qatar Airways in securing the Boeing 777 freighter as well as organizing the ground cargo effort at LAX. There were tense geo political negotiations to secure airspace over Turkey, but all was resolved and the flight landed in Yerevan October 18th. The Armenian American community who funded the effort, were extremely delighted and relieved to see the cargo reach their compatriots in need during this difficult conflict. WCS president Bill Shaw III was instrumental in coordinating this effort between the Armenian community, Qatar Airways and international dignitaries who were needed to secure airspace.
