Guide to Providing IRS Backup for your USCBP POA/EIN/SSN
If you are an individual importing using your social security number, we will need all of
the following:
*Important note* the individual name, SSN, and address on your POA and any shipping
documents issued must match the data on this document
● Drivers license scan, front and back
● Social Security Card, front and back
● Note, your POA will need to be notarized
The exception to the above list- any letter from the United States IRS or United States
Dept of the Treasury showing your business name, address, and EIN number
