World Class Shipping was instrumental in coordinating the shipping of over 75 tons of humanitarian relief supplies to North Korea on behalf of US Aid, Samaritan’s Purse, World Vision and other affiliated organizations. This relief effort assists the North korean people in recovering from massive and devastating floods to large regions of the insular country.
The flight is the first semi official American flight to N. Korea in over 5 decades. World Class Shipping was able to coordinate the procurement of an air charter willing to tackle this task, as well as an expert team of staff to load the huge cargo at Charlotte Intl airport. This is the 3rd humanitarian airlift World Class Shipping of new York has orchestrated on behalf of Samaritans Purse and the Rev. Franklin Graham to disaster ravaged regions of the world.
Bill Shaw Jr, VP of WCS, coordinated and liased the effort on the runway in Charlotte, making sure Samaritans and it’s cohorts logistics needs were met every step of the way. World Class Shipping is proud to be a part of such efforts and is expanding it’s availability for such work in the future.
